Product Tour: DSR Use In Depth

Free Modes for Learning

The IGOLPING DSR has many modes to familiarize you with its interface even before you buy a swing card. From the introduction screen, three free modes are available: Free Demo, Video Mirror, and User Manual. The Free Demo allows you to use the DSR normally with an example swing, and even record one free swing of your own. The Video Mirror allows you to see what the cameras see before you start a session, useful for checking them in adverse lighting conditions. The user manual offers extensive help on all topics. Help is also available in session. No charges apply at any time when accessing these features.

Drawing Guides

Simply use your finger to draw lines and circles to analyze your body motion and better understand the mechanics of your swing. Point to the center, end, or edges of lines and circles to drag and edit them. Use your finger in a scribble motion over existing lines to delete them. See our Technique pages for detailed explanations of how to use these guides to find motions that may be hurting your swing's power or accuracy.

Panning and Zooming

Double-tap anywhere on the screen to Zoom in to see details such as the clubface or your grip. Tap while zoomed in to re-center on another part of the image. Double-tap again while zoomed in to return to the normal view.

Saving Your Swing

In Playback mode, you can save your swing to a USB 2.0 Flash Memory drive. First, insert your flash drive into the front of the kiosk. Then, you may want to click "Add Swing Information" to remember which club you used and the results of your swing. Then click "Save Swing." Your swing plus its information and any guides you may have drawn on it will be saved directly to your flash drive. The same process can be used to save our model swings. Saved swings can be used in later sessions, or viewed at home.

SwingPractis

SwingPractis is free downloadable software for Windows XP personal computers that is designed to work with swings from the DSR kiosk. SwingPractis has the same interface as the Kiosk in Playback and Compare mode, so once you are used to using one, you can easily use the other. It also has extra features designed to help you maintain a library of swings.
