Ask a Tour Pro: This Week's Question

jv1putt Asks:

Jason, it's easy with all the golf swing information available for us to keep searching for something. What are your swing fundamentals and how do you decide if you should try something different?

Jason Bohn Responds:

This might sound redundant, but everything comes back to grip, posture and alignment (G,P,A). My major focus is that I hit the golf ball solidly, and through the fundamentals of checking G,P,A – if I feel that I’m not hitting the golf ball solidly, I will try something different. I put a major focus on P, and if I can maintain my P throughout the golf swing, I will most likely make solid contact. So, out of the basic fundamentals, your major emphasis should be on P.
