About Kevin Scheller
Kevin took up golf at the age of 14. He received a Golf scholarship to San Jose State University located in San Jose, California. There, he was a member of the golf team from 1986-89. In 2002, Kevin joined his longtime friend and fellow PGA Professional, Brady Riggs, and began teaching at Woodley Lakes G.C. in Van Nuys, California. At that time he also joined the PGA Apprentice program where his is currently completing his required elements to become a Class A PGA Professional. Kevin's students include members of the Nationwide Tour, the Canadian Tour and nationally ranked juniors and amateurs. Among the juniors/amatueurs are the winner of the prestigious California State Junior Championship, Division 1 college players, the college freshman of the year, first and second team all-Americans, and a Walker Cup member. His clientele also includes fellow PGA Professionals, countless scratch players, and several high profile celebrities. Kevin welcomes a challenge and takes pride in his abilities to assist his students to achieve a higher level of play and confidence of the golf course. Teaching the younger players who have an instinct for the game is especially gratifying for Kevin. He sees the potential in every player and continues to encourage his students to be their best every day.
