The Classic Swing, Position 10: Finish

Where the club finishes its natural momentum with the body.
Face-On Target Line
The right shoulder, trunk and right hip are now well past the Shoulder Line. The weight is now over the left foot as the body worked first toward the target and then around to the finish. The knees are now in line or even with each other, a checkpoint to insure the proper width of the stance at set-up. The finish is balanced and easily maintained, the result of the body and not the hands leading the swing. The head is now completely out of the circle and the tush has finally lost contact with the line. The body, as evidenced by the upright appearance of the right side, has made no attempt to remain "down," but has instead worked out and around to the finish. The correct release of the club, combined with the rotation of the body, has pulled the right foot (except for the toe) completely off the ground.
