| The head is now completely back in the middle of the circle, the right hip is much closer to the target, and the left arm is now bisected by the Shoulder Line. The alignment of the left arm at impact keeps the hands ahead of the clubhead, creates a flat left wrist at impact, and enables the club to strike the ball with a descending blow. The hands are now well forward of their original location at Set-Up position. |
The clubshaft is now slightly more upright than the original Plane Line. This is normal in most tour players and is the result of the increased tilt of the upper body, forward location of the hands, and lower position of the right forearm at impact. The tush has kept in contact with its line throughout, insuring that the arms have plenty of room as they work into impact. |
